Early Saturday morning police responded to NE 14th Pl. where they were told an assault and robbery had taken place. Officers found a 31-year-old man with a head trauma and he was taken to a Portland area hospital with serious injuries.

A second male victim told police the two men were walking back from a trip to a 7-11 store on NE 15th Ave. and Killingsworth St. when they were approached by two other men.
