Fire crews are on the scene of a residential fire in Northeast Portland, officials said Friday afternoon.

Smoke appears to be coming from a garage and shed at the home in the 6300 block of Northeast Skidmore Street.

The fire started as firefighters were already at the scene of another Northeast Portland residential fire. No injuries were reported at the house fire in the 4700 block of Northeast Wasco Street, just north of Interstate 84, but firefighters did rescue two dogs and a cat, said Lt. Tommy Schroeder, a Portland Fire & Rescue spokesman.
