HOPEDALE — The sky’s the limit when High Hopes — Hopedale’s first marijuana dispensary — takes flight and finally opens next month.

High Hopes, a recreational cannabis dispensary owned by local resident Russell Bogartz and located within the Hopedale Airport’s Industrial Park, is proposing to open on July 9 or sometime that week, said Bogartz.

The business recently received its final license and will open the dispensary at 1 Menfi Way, Unit 9, which has been vacant for several years, he said.

The 3,000-square-foot space, which includes a 1,300-square-foot retail area, is within an industrial park facing the Hopedale Airport’s 3,200-foot-long runaway. The park includes Hopedale Pizza Market Bar and Grill, a new pizza place opening up inside the space where Liz’s Diamond Bar & Grill operated for several years. The shared onsite parking lot includes more than 60 spots.

“When the pizza place opens up next door, it’s really going to be an amazing place,” he said.

Bogartz is running the business with three other executives: Chief Financial Officer Jay Lum, Chief Operating Officer Marion Miller and Chief Technical Officer David Coletta, who is Bogartz’ brother. Like Bogartz, Lum and Miller live in Hopedale.

The business is in talks with more than a dozen vendors and plans to offer products from companies like Garden Remedies, Curaleaf, Freshly Baked, Revolutionary Clinics, Happy Valley and Treeworks Massachusetts, said Bogartz.
