ANN ARBOR, MI – The last man in a group of three accused of robbing an Ann Arbor medical marijuana dispensary at gunpoint in the middle of the day, firing several gunshots outside the establishment, has pleaded guilty.

Devaughn Morgan, 30, pleaded guilty Monday, Aug. 30, to one count of armed robbery for his role in the brazen midday robbery at Bloom City Club just outside downtown Ann Arbor in late 2019, court records show.

He was the last member of the group to plead guilty, originally facing 11 felony charges compared to his codefendants, Alfonzia Sproles and David Adams, who each faced eight felony charges for their roles in the robbery.

The three men were accused of entering the medical marijuana dispensary, located at 423 Miller Street, at about 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 13, 2019, and robbing the shop at gunpoint, according to the Ann Arbor Police Department.

After being handed an undisclosed amount of cash in the robbery, the three men exited the building and fled on foot, police said.
