ANN ARBOR, MI — A new “cannabus” tour is providing an opportunity to explore Ann Arbor’s history and dispensaries through a marijuana tour of the city.

MaryJane Tours, which launched on July 11, is a bus tour of the marijuana industry in Ann Arbor. During the tour, participants visit a growing house and a dispensary, as well as learn about how the industry has changed in the city and its ties to social activism.

The tour is a partnership between Bus A Move, a party bus company owned in part by Anthony Richmond, and Farm Assist Wellness, a farm-to-table-style dispensary that provides plants for people to grow at home.

The tour starts at Apothecare, where tour participants learn about different products and receive swag bags with a variety of products, including CBD and vaping paraphernalia, as well as dispensary coupons.

After boarding the MaryJane Tour bus, the group then goes to the University of Michigan’s Diag for a discussion about the history of the marijuana industry in Ann Arbor.
