New Standard opens eighth Michigan marijuana dispensary in Ann Arbor – MLive.com
ANN ARBOR, MI — A new marijuana dispensary is set to open in Ann Arbor on Friday, Sept. 3, with special opening-weekend promotions.
New Standard is planning to open 10 new dispensaries across Michigan this year. Other locations include Edmore, Grand Haven, Hazel Park, Muskegon, Nunica, Sand Lake and Saugatuck, with two more coming in Grand Rapids and Whitehall.
“New Standard has had an incredible year of expanding retail operations across the state of Michigan,” Howard Luckoff, New Standard CEO and co-founder, said in a statement announcing the opening. “We are thrilled to be opening our eighth Michigan location in Ann Arbor.”
The store will be offering a free edible to the first 100 customers on Sept. 3. Customers on Sept. 4 who show their ticket to the University of Michigan football game will receive a free pre-roll and a Maize & Blue New Standard shirt. There will also be discounts through Labor Day, as well as drawings for gifts cards and other local business.
The dispensary offers marijuana for both medical and recreational use in the form of cannabis flower, pre-rolls, edibles, cartridges and concentrates.
The Ann Arbor location, located at 811 North Main Street, will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m.
