PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) – The power has been restored for PGE customers in Southeast Portland after a crash took down a power pole.

According to police, a single vehicle crash was reported at 124th and Powell around 5:09 a.m. A male driver was transported to OHSU with non-life threatening injuries.

For a few hours, around seven thousands customers didn’t have power in zip codes 97206, 97236, 97266 and 97215 while crews worked to restore the lines.

Officers closed SE Powell from 122nd to 136th during the investigation.
