Rolling In: Medical cannabis dispensary sprouting in Ravenswood – Parkersburg News

RAVENSWOOD — A medical cannabis dispensary is coming to Ravenswood and projected to bring over 100 jobs to the area.
The Jackson County Development Authority announced Monday the purchase lease for Tariff Labs of Spencer founded by long-time residents David Heeter and Steve Bowers.
“The company’s investments in West Virginia and specifically Jackson and Roane counties will be ongoing as the market expands,” Heeter said in a press release.
The dispensary will be in the former Anixter building in the Jackson County Maritime and Industrial Park.
“This will be a significant investment for the partners as they anticipate investment for the partners as they anticipate investing upwards of $12 million initially and hiring over 100 employees as the market is established,” according to a press release from the development authority. “Tariff Labs has already made substantial investments in Roane County.”
