The One Motorcycle Show in Portland displays unique bikes, draws thousands – OregonLive.com
By Sunday afternoon, organizers of The One Motorcycle Show in Portland sounded spent.
The three-day event they put together had drawn more than 12,000 people to a former industrial building in inner Southeast Portland, displaying 120 unique bikes in a show curated by Thor Drake, 34, a motorcycle enthusiast who also owns See See Motor Coffee Co.
So many people showed up at the sixth annual free event that the line to get in Saturday wound nearly around a full city block, Drake said.
“We just tried to create a show with stuff we were into: Making the bikes, putting them on pedestals with nice lights and curating the show,” Drake explained. “We just try to make it inclusive.”
