Police said two people entered the Key Bank at 400 Forest Ave. around 11:05 a.m. wearing masks and demanded cash. They then allegedly fled on foot toward Fessenden Street. At 11:20 a.m. the same two people entered the Key Bank at 98 Auburn St., demanded cash, and fled on foot, said police. They were last seen getting into a small, dark car with a partial plate of 8843 parked on Brook Road.

Police said a dye pack was activated on a path behind the Auburn Street bank, but the robbers discarded it. Police said they may have dye stains on their hands, clothing or the cash.

The robbers didn’t displayed weapons and nobody was injured, said police. They are described as medium build and height and the masks they were wearing made them look elderly.

Anyone with information is asked to call Portland Police.
